Brookdale Outfitters conducts it's Waterfowl Hunting in the prairie pothole region of southwestern Manitoba. Thousands of Snow Geese, Blue Geese, Lesser Canada, Greater Canada and over a dozen species of ducks use the Brookdale area as a staging area during their migration south. They stop here to feed on the agricultural fields and roost on the many potholes and marshes that Brookdale Outfitters hunt on for Manitoba Canada Goose Hunting and Manitoba Canada Waterfowl Hunting. |
Field hunting in the morning is primarily Canada Geese with plenty of duck action in our field spread. Our top of the line equipment continues to pay big dividends in our daily bag limits and the comfort and success of our hunts. Decoys used include full body bigfoot, magnum shell, silhouette and flags for Canada Geese as well as using Enticer fullbody Mallard decoys. After our morning Manitoba Waterfowl hunt, we head back to camp for lunch and discuss how to spend our afternoon if we are short on our duck limit. Our afternoon hunt consists of decoying ducks on the many potholes and marshes in the area that Brookdale Outfitters has exclusive rights to. If you have already shot your daily limit of ducks during the morning field hunt and wish to hunt game birds, we have Sharptailed Grouse, Rufftailed Grouse, and Hungarian Partridge. |
